Not a franchise, not a marketing plan. Friends and clients kept calling because of the work, and because too many other companies in the area were cutting corners.
Pulse Plus Solutions wasn't built around a business plan. It started because friends, family, and clients kept reaching out consistently, not because of marketing, but because of the quality of the work, and because other companies in the area were taking shortcuts and not building things correctly. What started informally in 2019 became a real, established company in 2023, built on efficiency, communication, value, and high quality from day one.
The owners came to Florida from different places, different building traditions, different codes, different expectations, and that difference turned out to matter. Florida's building and inspection requirements are real, but they're a floor, not a ceiling. Working from a background where the standard was already higher meant one thing stuck: just because a step isn't required doesn't mean it's optional.
During one inspection, the electrician and the plumber both told us we didn't have to do a number of the things we'd already done. We knew from how we'd built houses before that those steps were necessary to avoid problems down the road, so we did them anyway. That's not a slogan. It's the actual reason "we don't cut corners" means something specific here instead of being something every contractor's website says.
"There is not just one way of cutting the cloth. We demonstrate perspectives and creativities. There's nothing we can't do at the highest level of quality."
Michael's take on the business is straightforward: most contractors do the same categories of work, tile, drywall, plumbing, paint, but doing that work well isn't about following one fixed playbook. It's about the ability to look at a problem from a different angle and actually solve it, not just default to the easiest fix. That's the belief the company was built on, and it's why Pulse Plus takes on custom and unusual jobs other companies pass on.
"Most larger companies are built around one standard model and won't break it," Michael says, "since a custom or unusual job that would genuinely help a client still doesn't make them what the standard work makes. They have more to lose, so they play it safe and pass. Nothing restricts us that way."
We send our best guys and are always working with them or overseeing the whole project. That's not standard for companies that scale by adding employees whose work doesn't match the founder's own standard.
If a job doesn't fit a standard mold, that's exactly the kind of problem we get curious about instead of passing on.
We're intentional about how we work and use the best products available to produce the greatest quality, not the cheapest option available. No repeat visits to fix the same job.
